Group Lessons:
We are the London Longsword Academy (LLA), one of the biggest Historical Martial Arts schools in Europe, offering the widest range of disciplines in historical weapons and swordfigthing styles. We are currently running 11 group classes every week in our different venues in London (please see class schedule and venues below). At the same time, we are also teaching all our group classes online, for our international audience and for those who cannot travel.
Does that sound like fun? If you would like to train with us, in-person or online, or have any further question, please send an email here and we’ll get you set up asap (ideally get in touch min. 2-3 days before your preferred training start date).
If you don’t have a sword (yet), no problem, we will provide a training weapon for you in our in-person class to get you started. For our online lesson, you can improvise initially and we can give you advise on how.
Know somebody who really loves swords but never tried? You can now also get a Gift Card voucher for any of our classes or lessons with us.
Fees group classes (90mins each):
Single class fee £20 (price incl. VAT), with discounts available for multi-class packages.*
Monthly and membership plans for 1 class per week start from £60 – £72 (price incl. VAT) per month, with discounts available for 3+ classes per week.*
Walk-in fee at the door for a single class is £25 per person and we cannot guarantee that there is space or a training weapon for you, so rather please contact us before you show up.*
In addition to our 10 group classes indicated below, we offer a sabre class in partnership with Decathlon, Surrey Quays on Saturdays from 5:30-7:00 pm. To book this class, please directly go to Decathlon here.
For all other classes just get in touch here. We are looking forward to welcoming you with us!
Our school is generally open for training all year round according to the schedule below. Please note however, that there are no group classes on Bank Holidays and we run a reduced class schedule over the festive season end of December and beginning of January.
